PKR hails "new dawn" after completing MPN migration
Poker operator says move to Microgaming platform has seen poker liquidity increase six fold
PKR says the completion of its migration to the Microgaming platform, coupled with the launch of its Vegas casino, has ushered in a “new dawn” for the poker and casino operator.
The firm announced it had struck a deal with Microgaming back in February in a bid to increase liquidity while still retaining its signature 3D technology.
Following the migration to MPN, PKR said its poker liquidity had increased six-fold and could now offer ?10m in monthly tournament and sit-and-go prizes.
PKR chief exec Chris Welch said there had been a few “bumps in the road” but operationally it had been a “very successful migration so far”.
“We still have a few bugs to iron out but overall feedback has been largely positive,” he added.
As part of the migration, PKR has overhauled its casino offering including the launch of a new slots site, PKR Vegas.
The firm said that PKR Casino now offers the biggest jackpots in the world including the Mega Moolah Jackpot Slot, while PKR Vegas has more than 800 games available across desktop and mobile.
