News in brief: Entraction Holding Q3 figures; Poker Subito launches in France
Entraction Holding releases poor Q3 numbers, while Poker Subito launches in France.
Swedish gaming network and software business Entraction Holding has reported a one-off loss of SEK 10m (£922,000) due to “staff layoffs and expected customer losses”, Peter Ã
ström, the company’s CEO has said. It also saw net sales fall 22% to SEK 254.2m from SEK 326.7m, while its EBITDA figure slumped 62%. “It should be noted that during the period we increased our liquidity in the poker network, launched an action programme, which is already making its effects felt in the fourth quarter, and signed an exclusive agreement with one of the market’s largest gaming operators,” Ã
ström added.
In August last year Sportingbet joined the Entraction network to offer poker in its European markets currently not covered by the operator’s existing provider Boss Media. At the time, however, a spokesperson for Entraction would not confirm which markets these were.
Poker Subito.fr has launched on the Prima Networks’ joint French liquidity network, the fourth site to do so, Dragonfish has announced. Targeted at casual gamers, Poker Subito joins 888poker, PokerXtrem and 200% Poker on the Microgaming powered network, a joint venture between 888 Holdings and Microgaming.
