Mobile casino firm TwentyFourSeven Gaming to list on AIM
Parent company of WannaGaming counts former Playtech CFO among board members
TwentyFourSeven Gaming Group Holdings (24/7), the parent company of mobile casino operator WannaGaming, has announced its intention to list on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM).
The company, which also owns console games business Playlogic, is based in the Netherlands and includes former Playtech chief financial officer David Mathewson among its board members.
WannaGaming operates under a Maltese licence held by NexiGames Ltd, and its mobile slots are provided by Microgaming-powered mobile specialist Spin3. It was founded in 2007 and acquired by 24/7 in 2011.
“The move to list our company on AIM is an important and logical step as we increase our marketing investment in existing markets and expand into new territories,” chief executive Rogier Smit, who founded Playlogic before its incorporation into 24/7, said.
The firm said in a statement it planned to exploit new markets as regulation permits, and would target new territories (South, and Central America and the Philippines) with plans for fully localised territory specific games”.
It also said it would capitalise on the “increasing migration from traditional to smart mobile devices”, and pledged to work on a marketing strategy for the US “if and when” online gaming becomes legal there.
TwentyFourSeven is poised to become the second pure mobile casino company to be listed on the AIM, alongside Probability, and according to City AM the float is anticipated to value 24/7 at between £60m and £70m.
