A round-up of the latest launches and deals in the egaming industry, SkillOnNet and Net Entertainment
Online gaming software provider SkillOnNet has struck a deal with live casino games supplier Evolution Gaming to jointly launch games via B2C site and B2B white label services.
The new agreement will see Evolution’s live dealer games go live next year on SkillOnNet’s online casino brands SlotsMagic, MegaCasino and EUCasino.
“We are very proud that our live dealer games, including innovative solutions such as multi-camera Immersive Roulette, have been chosen by SkillOnNet to spearhead the next stage of their live casino strategy,” Sebastian Johannisson, Evolution Gaming’s head of account management, said.
“We look forward to a long and fruitful partnership based not only on the quality of our live content on multiple devices, but also on the operational excellence of our platform and studios,” he added.
Online casino games developer NetEnt has this week unveiled its latest branded slots game based on the Universal Pictures film The Invisible Man.
The launch of the HTML5 game follows the signing of a licensing agreement between NetEnt and Universal Partnerships & Licensing, with 5X3 reel title featuring re-spins, free spins, walking wilds and a number of bonus features.
“The Invisible Man showcases a great player and gaming experience of a very popular title and story,” Simon Hammon, chief product officer of NetEnt, said.
“NetEnt’s use of HTML5 for both desktop and mobile on this fantastic production continues to showcase our abilities, and our innovation in driving the casino market forward,” he said.
Odobo‘s HTML5-dedicated in-house game studio Wild Game Reserve has launched its latest slots game to the Odobo Marketplace.
The five-reel slot game Extinction is set in the Jurassic era with each reel featuring different dinosaurs while the free spins mode triggers meteors to fill the screen.
“We’ve taken what we’ve learnt from the success of The Oddventurers, our first slot game, and applied it to a new slot with a very different feel,” Mark McGinley, studio manager at Wild Game Reserve, said.
“Combined with our first game, Grand BlackJack, we believe this is proof of our versatility as a studio,” he added.
UK bookmaker Coral has kicked-off its new TV advertising campaign to promote the firm’s single wallet card Coral Connect.
The 30 second advert features impressionist Darren Farley and model Carley Baker and was first aired last week on BT Sport, Sky and a number of other channels including ITV2 and E4.
“In March we launched Coral Connect, an industry-first, which has outperformed expectations due to its ease of use and flexibility, encouraging loyalty and also new customer recruitment,” Olly Raeburn, marketing director for Coral, said.
“We think the simple message that online customers can get hold of their winnings, in cash, straight away will go down very well,” he added.
GameAccount Network has signed a deal with Spin Games to integrate the Nevada-based slots developer’s remote game server (RGS) into its free-play simulated gaming platform.
The freeplay HTML5 games, including slots, poker, and keno, will be rolled out across the US market, with real-money versions launched in a small number of regulated jurisdictions.
Spin Games’ RGS will be integrated into GameAccount’s GameSTACK, which is used by land-based operators such as Foxwoods in Connecticut and the Empire Casino in New York in their freeplay offerings.
PokerStars this week unveiled a mobile version of its free-to-play social poker app on iOS and Android, four months after launching the product on Facebook.
PokerStars PLAY is available as a standalone mobile app for mobile and tablet devices and features a number of gesture-based controls to replicate real poker play, Facebook login and sharing functionality, and in-app poker tips.
The Isle of Man-based firm launched its social casino app, which shares player liquidity with PokerStars’ free poker platform PokerStars.net, on Facebook in August following an 18-month beta testing period.
