Ladbrokes Australia unveils pools betting product
Perfect Round was launched earlier this week and enables customers to win thousands of dollars by correctly predicting match outcomes in a single pool
Ladbrokes’ Australian arm has launched a new pools betting features in partnership with the Western Australia TAB as the operator continues to expand its portfolio of niche products.
TAB-powered Perfect Round was debuted on Ladbrokes.com.au earlier this week and enables customers to win various jackpot prizes by correctly predicting the winning teams for all matches in a select pool of fixtures.
Customers win a share of the prize pool based on their initial stake and if no player correctly predicts all winning outcomes, 20% of the prize money will be distributed to customers who select the next highest number of correct results.
“Perfect Round is the result of our ongoing pools betting relationship with the Western Australia TAB and it’s just something a little bit different, so we’re really looking forward to seeing how it goes,” a Ladbrokes Australia spokesperson told EGR this morning.
The product is available on a number of sporting competitions including the Australian Football League, National Rugby League, the English Premier League and the English Championship.
The launch of Perfect Round coincides with Ladbrokes Australia switching licensing jurisdictions this week from Norfolk Island to the Northern Territory, joining rival operators including William Hill, bet365 and Unibet as one of the state’s licensees.
Under the stewardship of CEO Dean Shannon, who recently announced he is leaving the firm next year, the operator has unveiled a range of popular product niches in recent months such as Odds Boost, Featured Bets, InfoHub and the newsagent Cash In service.
