BlueBat launches social gamification engine
BlueBox Engine aims to help casino operators socialise game content on web and mobile platforms
Independent studio BlueBat Games has announced the release of its new developer-centric gamification engine to help casinos and egaming developers socialise their content on multiple platforms.
The Vancouver-based company claims its platform-agnostic BlueBox Engine increases player engagement via social gamification strategies and mechanics, adding social features to online gambling games to reach more users and has already been integrated into social casino network GoPlay.
Features of the turnkey system include social gamification services and credit services which let players purchase in-game virtual goods using real money.
“Existing online gambling sites and casinos are seeking ways to tap into the social virality that has benefited companies such as Zynga in order to build brand loyalty, while other game developers are shifting toward social gambling to tap into a huge player base,” BlueBat Games CEO and co-founder Kenny Huang said.
Huang claimed the gamification engine frees up designers to increase their focus on the game. “BlueBox does the ‘heavy lifting’, so our clients keep their focus on more important things like great game play, customer satisfaction and ROI,” he said.
