Mobile drives NetPlay Q3 revenues
Interactive TV casino operator sees mobile contribution increase 171% and net deposits rise 30% following television sponsorship deals
Strong performance in mobile helped NetPlay TV record a 19% year-on-year rise in total net revenue during Q3 with mobile revenues up 171%.
The operator saw revenues grow to £6.5m, up from £5.4m during the same period last year, with mobile and tablets accounting for 32% of NetPlay’s revenues, an increase of 14%.
The number of new depositing casino players also increased 30% year-on-year to 15,566, with mobile accounting for 40% of the total, on the back of a major deal that saw it sponsor UK reality TV shows Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother.
“This initiative proved very successful and contributed to new depositing players increasing by 30% on the same period last year,” the company said in a statement.
“The directors are pleased with the company’s continued strong performance and are confident of meeting full year market expectations,” it added.
Earlier this year the operator signed a new three-year broadcast agreement with ITV which saw its Jackpot 247 brand featured on ITV six nights a week. In June NetPlay’s SuperCasino brand became the headline sponsor of the Channel Five reality TV gameshow Big Brother.
