mFortune moves to new six-floor HQ after doubling head count

InTouch Games, the parent company of mFortune, is moving to a new six-floor head office after doubling staff numbers and recording 122% revenue growth in the past 12 months, eGaming Review can reveal.

Current revenues from the business, which operates mobile casino and bingo brand mFortune, are believed to be in the region of £40m, up 122% from the last reported figure of £18m in the 12 months ended June 2014.

The firm, which also operates mobile casino Pocketwin, reported a head count of 66 employees in its annual results but this has since risen to over 120 on the back of heavy investment in its product team.

And the operator has been forced to move from its existing West Midlands office to the six-floor Fountain House building near Birmingham as ongoing recruitment in its in-house technology continues to expand the business.

“It’s grown phenomenally,” Simon Llanos, business development director at InTouch Games, said. “We’ve recruited in Budapest, Bucharest and we’ve recruited heavily here as well.”

Llanos, who was speaking to eGaming Review for an interview in the upcoming issue, said the focus on revamping its in-house developed content had been a major driver in its revenue growth.

“The growth has been rocket ship. People talk about hockey stick curves and to actually witness it and be part of it has been phenomenal,” Llanos said.

The firm is planning a “big push” on TV in the upcoming months to promote its new HTML5 games and Llanos said it now feels its ready to compete with the top tier players.

“We like to think we are punching above our weight and we think we’re not far off being a real competitor to the likes of Sky Vegas,” Llanos said.
