Betfair boosts online casino with new games deal
Deal with GECO Gaming will add a raft of new titles from the likes of Bet Digital, Core Gaming and The Game Co
Betfair has bolstered its online casino offering by striking a deal with GECO Gaming to integrate the supplier’s remote game server into its platform.
Under the deal, Betfair players will gain access to a raft of new games including bespoke titles from The Games Co such as ‘Two Tribes’ and ‘Witch of the West’.
Betfair will also receive a number of proprietary titles from GECO’s in-house development studio in Australia, plus third party content from Bet Digital, Games Warehouse, MX Digital and CORE Gaming.
GECO chief operating officer Aaron Neill-Stevens said the deal “marks another flagship launch” of the supplier’s platform.
“Betfair is a top-tier sports betting company whose egaming business goes from strength to strength and we are extremely fortunate to have been chosen as a supplier of some bespoke content for them.
“We will be looking to expand our portfolio with them in the coming year,” he added.
The news comes just months after the operator launched a new Macau-themed online casino with partner TGP Games after rival William Hill unveiled its own Macau-themed casino.
Betfair’s egaming business has performed well of late, with revenues from the vertical up 18% in the first half of the year.
