Former Betit Group chiefs sign GiG platform for new start-up
Joakim Stockman and Henric Andersson's SuprNation brand to use Gaming Innovation Group's iGaming Cloud
SuprNation, a new gaming brand being readied by former Betit Group execs Joakim Stockman and Henric Andersson, has signed a deal with Gaming Innovation Group (GIG) for use of its iGaming Cloud (iGC) platform.
According to Andersson, who is COO at the new venture, SuprNation decided to select GIG due to the two parties having similarly ambitious targets.
“We have looked at all the platforms on the market and feel that iGC has the best fit for SuprNation,” Andersson said.
“Both in terms of the platform services but also the mind-set and ambition level of the team,” he added. “We look forward to a close partnership in the years to come.”
Andersson had previously been COO at Betit Group along with Stockman, who had been CEO. However, after launching both SuperLenny and Thrills, the pair left last summer to pursue this current project.
The deal marks the 13th agreement GiG has struck for its iGC platform, which the firm said now provided ?5.3m in total contributions.
“We are pleased to see that the growth in iGC agreements continues in 2016,” Robin Reed, GiG CEO, said.
“The iGamingCloud platform is an attractive solution for start-up companies within the online gaming industry, and this agreement once again highlights our position,” he added.
