PKR has been been named as the UK’s most successful technology company in the 2010 Sunday Times Tech Track 100. The listings rank Britain’s private tech companies with the fastest-growing sales over the last three years. The report ranked the online poker room in first position with yearly sales growth of 356.44% for the period 2006/7 to 2009/10. This growth rate was almost double that of second placed company, Mindcast, and saw revenues increase from £347,000 to over £33,000,000. Malcolm Graham, CEO of PKR, told eGaming Review: “the growth is down to having a unique differentiated product that resonated with our demographic. We are launching in France in the next few days and are hopeful that the PKR product will be successful there too.”
Paul Derwin has joined software company VueTec as new affiliate manager for Dublinbet. For the past ten years Derwin has been running his own digital agency Become Interactive.
Games provider Chartwell has launched its online casino product with Globet International Sports Betting. The games suite is now live on Globet’s website and is positioned to offer Chartwell’s full portfolio of over 100 casino games.
888 has deployed customer service company RightNow to improve its customer experience. RightNow Chat will offer customers real-time answers to questions and will initially be only for registered customers during the cashier process.
