First licensee launches on WMS Play4Fun Network
Meskwaki Bingo Casino becomes first land-based venue to launch on Nevada-licensed supplier's play-for-free network.
WMS Industries has announced that Iowa’s Meskwaki Bingo Casino has become the first land-based operator to launch on its subsidiary Williams Interactive’s Play4Fun Network, going live with a suite of online gaming products and services.
The Play4Fun Network is a customised platform allowing casinos to develop player engagement online by providing a portfolio of play-for-fun casino games including video poker, slots and casual games. The cloud-based solution is also designed to be expanded in order to allow licensees to offer real-money gambling products, including 888’s poker software, following a joint venture agreed in July this year.
The network also includes a variety of social features including direct messaging facilities to allow venues to communicate with their customers and WMS’ Player’s Life service, allowing users to develop and tailor their online marketing and promotional campaigns.
Commenting on the deal Williams Interactive president and CEO Orrin J. Edidin (pictured) said: “The Play4Fun Network website is just one more demonstration of WMS’ commitment to provide our casino customers with creative content across a wide breadth of distribution channels.
“As our customers look to expand their online entertainment offerings, our ability to leverage insights on players’ preferences combined with our expertise in creating great content is resulting in the creation of value-enhancing online solutions that will help our customers unlock online opportunities.”
The deal comes just over a week after WMS was announced as one of the latest service providers to secure a Nevada egaming licence following a meeting of the Silver State’s gaming commission. After submitting its application for a licence in March this year, the company formed Williams Interactive, a subsidiary focusing on online, mobile and social gaming, following the acquisitions of Swedish mobile gambling software developer Jadestone and social games studio Phantom EFX.
Meskwaki Bingo Casino will be joined on the Play4Fun Network by Michigan’s Kewadin Casinos and the Welsh, Minnesota-based Treasure Island Resort & Casino after both venues signed deals to launch.
